Wind Power to Dwarf Other Renewables in Europe
GALWAY, IRELAND--July 27, 2010--Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland)--Wind power will dwarf other renewable energy sources by 2020, according to a detailed report based on the renewable action plans submitted to the European Commission (E.C.) by 13 European countries. According to a report from information service ENDS Europe (London, England), by the end of the decade, installed wind capacity will be greater than the combined capacity of solar power and hydropower, the latter being the current leading renewable energy source.
