Norwegian Zephyr to Begin Building Windfarms this Fall
GALWAY, IRELAND--July 26, 2010--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Zephyr A/S (Sarpsborg, Norway) plans to begin construction of the company's first windfarm this October. Geitfjellet Windfarm, which will be 5 kilometers south of Snillfjord, Norway, and approximately 375 kilometers north of Oslo, will consist of 65 steel towers, each affixed with a turbine capable of generating 3 megawatts (MW), for an output capacity of 195 MW.
