Europe Creates Nuclear Academy
GALWAY, IRELAND--February 5, 2010--Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland)--The resurgence in Europe's nuclear power industry has prompted six nuclear energy companies to create the European Nuclear Energy Leadership Academy (ENELA). The academy, which will be based near Munich, Germany, is designed to attract new graduates and professionals already in the nuclear industry to give Europe a boost in nuclear expertise in the coming decade. The six founding companies are French nuclear power company Areva SA (EPA:CEI) (Paris), EnBW (Karlsruhe, Germany), E.ON Kernkraft GmbH (Dusseldorf, Germany), Axpo Holding AG (Zurich, Switzerland), nuclear fuel company Urenco Limited (Marlow, England) and Swedish energy company Vattenfall AB (Stockholm, Sweden).
